Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients in a small pot.

  2. Bring the mixture to the boil and stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved.

  3. Now turn down the heat and let the sauce simmer at low temperature for 10 to 15 minutes.

  4. If small bubbles appear while stirring, you know the sauce is ready.

  5. Pour it into a clean screw-top glass and let it cool down when opened. It will become a little firmer.

  6. You can use the teriyaki sauce right away or keep it in the fridge for two to three weeks.
