Preparation

      1. Cut the onions and the spring onions in small pieces. Put them aside.

      2. Mix the sauceRühre die Sauce an, indem du das Wasser mit den Gemüsebrühenpulver, der Soja Sauce, dem Zucker und Weiswein anmixt. Stelle die Sauce dann zur Seite.

      3. Knock the pork cutlet with a meat mallet, alternatively with the surface of a knife soft. This ensures that the fibers shorten in the meat and thus it becomes tender and juicy.

Katsudon is a very famous Japanese dish, with a crispy breaded pork schnitzel served with a half raw egg on a serving of rice.

The Word "Katsudon" is made up of Tonkatsu (pork) and Donburi. Donburi (short Don) is a bowl of rice with different ingredients as topping such as meat, fish or vegetables on. These easy-to-prepare dishes are popular both in Japan and around the world.

For this Katsudon I have made sure that I use only easy-to-get ingredients, except the soy sauce. The soy sauce is now also available in every supermarket for little money.
