Preparation

  1. Bring water to the boil in a pot.

  2. When the water boils properly, put the somen noodles in.

  3. Let them cook for exactly 2-3 minutes - unless another time is indicated on the package.

  4. As soon as the noodles are done, remove them from the stove immediately.

  5. Place the somas in a pasta sieve and rinse them with plenty of cold water. Make sure that they cool down quickly so that they do not continue cooking.

  6. The somas are ready. Serve them with tsuyu and toppings of your choice as a cool, refreshing summer dish. Time to eat!
