Preparation

First, you fill a pot with water.

Cut the spring onion into small rings.

Now you slice the kamaboko.

After that you cook the udon noodles according to the package instructions - this is usually done very quickly.

Meanwhile you prepare the instant Dashi. Of course you can also make Dashi yourself. We have a recipe for that here.

The finished udon noodles are quenched cold and then served in soup bowls.

Now the dashi is placed over it.

Add 2 slices of aburaage (fried tofu) and some slices of fish cake to each bowl.

Finally add the spring onions and Shichimi Tougarashi, a Japanese spice mixture, on top. Done! Enjoy your meal!
