A three-part collage of everyday street life in Ho Chi Minh City. On the left, a 7-Eleven storefront with its familiar orange, green, and red stripes sits below a large fitness advertisement, while a rider in a purple jacket and pink helmet speeds past on a red motorbike loaded with wrapped bundles. The center panel shows a street vendor in a conical straw hat and black-and-white striped shirt, seated on a red plastic stool beside a weathered wooden cart piled with fresh corn cobs, a steamer pot, and a blue thermos, with more corn hanging from a line above. On the right, a leafy park scene with a two-tiered green pavilion, where a rider in a red helmet crosses the road on a maroon scooter past a white car under an overcast sky. Together the panels capture the mix of international chains, mobile street food vendors, and tree-lined public spaces that define the city.

Ryusei Hosono / RyuKoch

Looking up a narrow downtown street in Ho Chi Minh City, the glass tower that dominates the frame is the Bitexco Financial Tower, its sail-like curved silhouette tapering to a point against a blue sky with scattered clouds. Mid-rise brown and glassy office buildings line both sides of the street, and a cream colonial-era building with a small white dome sits at the right, a reminder of the city's French past. A slim tree trunk and broad tropical leaves fill the foreground on the left, where a dark sign reading "Renaissance" marks one of the hotels along the block. The view is framed tightly between the buildings, capturing how the skyscraper rises directly over the older city streets.

This two-part photo captures everyday street traffic in Ho Chi Minh City. On the left, motorbikes stream past small shopfronts, including a rider in a green Grab delivery jacket and helmet carrying a passenger side-saddle, and a ShopeeFood driver in an orange jacket. On the right, the view shifts to a wider street where a rider carries a cardboard box strapped to the back of his bike past a white Vinasun taxi. Behind them stand a modern glass building housing the Center Hotel and a Curves fitness studio, with a 7-Eleven on the ground floor and scooters parked along the curb. Both scenes show the motorbike-dominated traffic that defines the city.

    Grap

The Saigon Central Post Office fills the frame, photographed head-on from across its cobblestone plaza. It is a grand colonial-era building in pale yellow, two stories tall, with rows of arched windows shuttered in dark green and white ornamental stucco swirled around every arch and cornice. Above the main entrance, a large arched clock sits behind iron grille work beneath the words "BƯU ĐIÊN," and a Vietnamese flag flies from the roof against a blue sky with scattered clouds. A few visitors walk across the open plaza toward the entrance steps: a couple in summer clothes heads in from the foreground, while others linger near the doorway. Vintage-style lampposts and neatly trimmed shrubs flank the facade on both sides, and a sliver of a bucket hat at the bottom right corner shows how close the photographer stands to the crowd.

The arched roof is built from green iron ribs with cream and yellow panels, ending in a skylight that floods the space with daylight. At the far end, beneath the arch, hangs a large framed portrait of Ho Chi Minh, with a round clock set just below it. Tourists fill the floor, some in line at yellow service counters along the walls, others browsing souvenir stalls in the foreground. On the left, illuminated signs advertise postcards and Vietnam handmade souvenirs; on the right, glass display counters showcase perfumes and gifts lit up in blue and pink. The checkered tile floor, green window shutters, and hanging ceiling fans give the hall its colonial-era character, while the dense crowd makes it clear this is one of the city's busiest sights.

The Notre-Dame Cathedral in Ho Chi Minh City photographed during a major renovation, its two brick towers and spires completely encased in a dense lattice of scaffolding and white protective sheeting. Stairways and platforms snake up the facade, with only hints of the original masonry visible beneath the covering. Lush green trees frame the tower on both sides, and a tall streetlamp with curved lamps stands in front of it against a bright, partly cloudy sky. The orange tile roof of a lower building peeks out at the base, but the scaffolded towers clearly dominate the frame.

    Đ. Bùi Viện 街

A three-photo collage of Bui Vien Street in Ho Chi Minh City after dark, the city's famous nightlife strip, all neon and crowds. The first panel looks down the main strip, where young people crowd between bars under strings of lights and a club called Ocean glows in blue and pink. A woman in white on a scooter threads through the pedestrians in the foreground. The second panel is the quiet one, a narrow side alley with wet pavement reflecting orange and red neon, scooters parked in a row, and tattoo studios advertising on vertical signs, one reading "Dreams come true! Lucky tattoo." In the third, a corner building is wrapped entirely in blue and purple neon above a lit restaurant sign, while pedestrians and cars fill the crossing below, including a person in an oversized Pikachu mascot suit moving with the crowd.

Night falls on a busy eating-and-drinking street in Ho Chi Minh City, and the frame is packed with color. A yellow restaurant front carries a large red-and-gold sign reading "BIA HOI HANOI," with a blue awning above and strings of glowing lanterns in yellow, blue, and red hanging across the entrance. Next to it, several Vietnamese flags with their yellow stars hang in a row from a building, and further along the street more lanterns and neon signs light up the facades. On the left stands a small shrine or temple hall with a dark tiled roof, carved wooden doors, and red decorative medallions around the doorway. Parked motorbikes line the walkway, people sit at tables under the lights, and a crowd fills the street in the foreground, including a girl in a pink shirt glancing at the camera and a vendor working over a food cart at the lower right. The whole scene has the warm, crowded energy of the city's nightlife district.

    Asian Ruby

A busy corner in Ho Chi Minh City centers on a striking two-story building painted a deep royal blue, its ledges and balconies overflowing with trailing green vines that hang down the facade like a curtain. Gold trim runs along the rooflines and around the ground-floor windows, where warm interior lighting suggests a restaurant or lounge. A tall gold sign on the right side of the building reads "DOI DEP." In the street below, several riders on scooters cross the intersection, most wearing face coverings against the traffic dust along with their helmets. A dark green Jeep is parked at the curb near a row of motorbikes, and large trees shade both sides of the road, with a taller white office building rising behind the blue one. A red no-entry sign stands in the middle of the crossing. The scene captures the everyday mix of bold architecture and dense scooter traffic that defines the city's streets.
