The ultimate dish for every daytime
This Korean fried rice with kimchi (also called Kimchi Bokkeum Bap) is suitable for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I often cook Kimchi Bokkeum Bap in the evening and heat it up in the microwave the next morning. So I have a nutritious breakfast and start the day in a good mood.
What I recommend you
The egg and seaweed (Gim) complete the Fried Rice and give the whole thing a breathtaking taste! I strongly recommend you to add these two ingredients!
Korean dishes often use other ingredients for refinement. Fried eggs, Gim, sauces or other side dishes are perfect. You can also see quite often many extra ingredients on beautiful food photos, which give the dish a special kick and taste.
Use your own and leftover kimchi
I have already shown you a great recipe for your own kimchi (>> cabbage kimchi - the korean superfood ). With this kimchi, the rice is ideal to prepare and is even cheaper than if you buy packaged kimchi from the Asian supermarket. Besides, you know exactly WHAT you are cooking, because you made it on your own. If you make kimchi in stock, than it should not be a problem anyways.
