A four-photo collage from a trip through the Mekong Delta in Vietnam. The largest panel, top left, is a covered market stall stacked with produce: green bananas, carrots, corn, starfruit, purple yams, potatoes and cabbages, with jars of a milky drink in the middle and vendors working behind the piles. Baskets and plastic bags of goods fill the space around them. The other three photos round out the scene. One shows a riverfront at night, where stilt houses across the dark water glow with lights beneath a bright street lamp, flowering bushes in the foreground. Another is a busy daytime street with rows of parked scooters, moving traffic, and tall buildings hung with Vietnamese signage. The last looks out over the wide, muddy brown river, framed by palm fronds and leafy trees under a partly cloudy sky, a thatched roof edge in the foreground.

    TL;DR

A white intercity bus pulls away down a Vietnamese street at night, photographed from behind. Its brake lights glow red and blue interior lighting shows through the windows, with the operator name Thảo Châu written in cursive across the rear glass and green stripes running along the body. The scene reads as a stop in a Mekong Delta town: streetlights and trees line the road, shopfronts on the left are shuttered for the evening, and on the right sidewalk a small drink stall glows under its own sign next to a parked motorbike.

    Sistemazione e consigli sugli hotel

A night shot of the Song Tien Hotel in Vietnam's Mekong Delta. The tall hotel tower rises into a dark sky, topped by a glowing rooftop sign: a round white logo next to "SONG TIEN HOTEL" in large illuminated letters. Only a few windows are lit, and much of the building fades into blue shadow. In front of it stands a lower corner building with a large maroon billboard for ABIC, an insurance company, written up in Vietnamese. At the bottom edge a bright Agribank sign glows white and red. On the right, a streetlamp casts a warm halo over a leafy tree, and a decorative pole with yellow blossom shapes adds a festive touch. A faded sign reading "Thanh Binh" clings to the older building on the left, giving the scene the feel of a busy provincial city street after dark.

Busy street traffic fills the frame in Vietnam's Mekong Delta, dominated by motorbikes. In the foreground, riders in helmets, face masks, and sun sleeves wait on their scooters, one with a plastic bag hanging from the handlebar. Around them crowd a silver hatchback with a yellow license plate, a black sedan, a green city bus, and cargo trucks. Overhead, a large digital billboard glows with orange panels of Vietnamese text framed in green. Tall trees, mid-rise buildings, and traffic signs including a no-entry disc line the road under a blue sky with heavy white clouds.

Giro in moto attraverso i villaggi locali

Giro in moto attraverso i villaggi locali

Shot from the back of a moving scooter, the photo looks over the shoulder of a rider in a pale mint helmet and grey plaid shirt, with the scooter's round mirror catching a glimpse of the passenger behind. Ahead lies a sunny intersection in a Vietnamese town in the Mekong Delta, where motorbikes, a white sedan, and a red car with a yellow license plate wait at the crossing. Colorful shopfronts with Vietnamese signs line the street behind a leafy tree, and neatly trimmed round bushes and palm trees mark a small square under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds. It feels like a pause in traffic in the middle of a motorbike ride through town.

    Artigianato tradizionale e avventure culinarie

A collage of three photos showing coconuts going from harvest to drink, taken at an outdoor stall in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. In the lower left photo, a person swings a machete to hack the top off a young coconut set on a round wooden chopping block. Husk shards fly around, and a trimmed coconut top sits nearby shaped like an open flower. The right photo shows the payoff: two hands holding two freshly opened green coconuts, each with a white straw sticking out of the cut-open top. In the upper left photo, a woman in a blue patterned shirt and face mask cuts slabs of golden coconut candy into small cubes on a plastic-covered table, with a cleaver and a small paper box in front of her and dozens of finished candy pieces scattered across the surface.

    Rilassamento e cucina locale

    Cucina locale

A three-photo collage of a home-style Vietnamese meal. The top-left image shows a dark wooden table set with small plates and pots: spring rolls arranged on lettuce, green banana-leaf parcels, a plate of fried tofu in sauce on a leaf-lined dish, and two rustic clay pots, one filled with white rice and the other with beans in a dark sauce. In the bottom-left close-up, a single round patty fried golden and blistered rests on a scorched banana leaf. The right side of the collage shows the drink that goes with it: a tall glass of yellow iced juice with a whole lime sitting at the bottom, a straw and spoon standing inside, set on a heavily worn wooden table with lidded ceramic bowls stacked behind it.

In the top left, two Vietnamese boatmen sit in a long, narrow wooden sampan on brown river water, framed by dense tropical jungle: palm fronds and leafy trees crowd right down to the bank. The bottom left photo is a close-up of a hand holding a palm fruit sliced in half, showing translucent, jelly-like white flesh around a hollow center, with a pile of whole dark, scaly fruits resting on the boat's weathered wooden deck. The right side is a larger shot taken from the bow of a wooden boat gliding down a narrow jungle channel. Waterlogged palms and thick greenery line both sides of the murky brown water, and the bow's deck with a loosely coiled rope fills the foreground. Overhead, heavy gray and white clouds fill the sky, giving the scene a humid, stormy feel typical of the delta.

    Esperienza Street Food

This collage shows three street food scenes from Vietnam. On the right, several bright green plastic bowls are held out toward the camera, each filled with rice noodles, spring rolls, fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and grilled pork. A hand reaches in with chopsticks, and red plastic stools and patterned pavement make clear the meal is being eaten right on the sidewalk. Top left is a close-up of bowls filled with a red, jelly-like dessert topped with peanuts, with plastic spoons and a straw poking out, sitting on a red table. Bottom left shows a street vendor stall where two women prepare food behind a spread of rice paper, sauces, spring rolls, and skewers. A yellow sign reads "Bún Thịt Nướng," pointing customers toward the grilled pork noodle dish being served.
