A three-part photo collage from Ryusei's Japanese garden, a kitchen plot where Japanese vegetables and Western herbs grow together. The top left shot shows a freshly tilled bed with bright yellow mustard blossoms and purple chive flowers nodding over dark soil. Below it, terracotta planters sit on pale pink gravel, holding ruffled mustard greens and a small pot of curly parsley. The right half of the collage is a close-up of low rosettes with broad, glossy, dark green leaves, the kind of Asian greens used for soups and stir-fries, framed by tall blades of grass and a bed of fresh mulch.

    TL;DR

Sarei aperto a qualsiasi cosa.

    Mirtilli

I fiori sembrano comunque promettenti!

    Due mirtilli nel mio giardino

A young blueberry bush stands at the center of the frame, its thin brown stems crowded with oval green leaves and small white bell-shaped blossoms. Some flowers have already faded to rusty brown, and no fruit has formed yet, so the shrub is captured in its flowering stage rather than at harvest. It grows in a planted bed in front of a house wall, right beside a window with a dark frame and a white lace curtain behind the glass. Around the blueberry, the bed is full: green foliage and clusters of soft purple flowers fill the lower right of the photo, giving the scene the dense, layered look of a tended garden. The setting is the Japanese garden of Ryusei, where Japanese and Western plants grow side by side.

    Spezie giapponesi

Quindi abbiamo naturalmente molte spezie nel giardino, perché adoro cucinare. Anche mia nonna ama cucinare.

    Shiso

Shiso[/link] è un must in un giardino o balcone giapponese. Simile al basilico in Germania. Cosa Shiso[/link] è esattamente, lo scoprirai nell'articolo qui sotto.

Foglie di Shiso - giardino giapponese

A young shiso plant is the focus, its bright green leaves deeply crinkled and edged with jagged teeth, fanning out from a slender stem. It grows in a terracotta-colored trough planter filled with dark soil flecked with white perlite. The planter rests on a bed of small pink and gray pebbles with two other containers around it: a round clay pot on the left holding a bushy leafy herb, and a second matching trough on the right with sparser, thin-stemmed plants. This is a corner of the Japanese garden of Ryusei where herbs are raised in pots.

    Peperoncino

Peperoncino ancora molto piccolo - giardino giapponese

Two young chilli plants grow side by side in bare, tilled soil, seen from above. The closer plant stands at the center of the frame with slender, pointed green leaves spreading from a thin stem, while a second, slightly smaller seedling rises just behind and to the right of it. The ground around them is crumbly brown earth dotted with small pebbles. At the edges of the shot the rest of the garden closes in: long green blades and the rim of a pot in the upper left, silvery-grey foliage on the right, and a cluster of bright orange flowers in the top corner.

Li usiamo volentieri nelle ciotole o negli spaghetti.

    Prezzemolo - giardino giapponese

A sunlit herb bed with young parsley plants growing in bare, crumbly brown soil. One bright green parsley plant with ruffled leaves sits in the center foreground, sharp and lit from above, while a second, slightly larger one grows a bit farther back to the right. To the left, a cluster of lower, darker leafy plants fills the middle of the bed, and the edge of a white planter pot peeks into the bottom corner. Shadows from an overhead structure fall across the right side of the bed, and a stone or concrete border runs along the top left. The scene is part of the Ryusei garden in Japan, where Western herbs like parsley grow alongside other plantings.

Two bushy clumps of curly parsley grow in a patch of dry, cracked soil, photographed from above. The frilly, bright green leaves stand out against the pale brown earth, which is scattered with small stones and pebbles. Around the parsley, several young seedlings with smooth, pointed leaves sprout straight from the bare ground. At the left edge, a concrete block borders the bed, and the corner of a white planter peeks into the frame at the top. Strong sunlight casts soft shadows across the soil, giving the scene the feel of a working kitchen garden where herbs and new plants share the same open bed.

    Verdura

Poi abbiamo un bel po' di verdure. Qualche pomodoro, cetriolo, qualche foglia, ecc.

    Pomodori ciliegino - giardino giapponese

A young tomato seedling grows through a round hole cut into a square of silver reflective mulch sheet, spread flat over dark, freshly tilled soil. Two stones, one round and one chunky, weight down the edges of the foil so it stays in place around the stem. The plant itself is small and healthy, with finely divided green leaves and a single open yellow flower near the top. Around it the bed is bare brown earth with a scattering of tiny weeds, and blurred green leaves with yellow blossoms fill the right side of the frame, putting the viewer low among the neighboring plants. This is a planting bed in the Japanese Garden of Ryusei, where ordinary vegetable crops like tomatoes are grown alongside Japanese plants.

A young cucumber seedling takes center stage in a freshly tilled vegetable bed at the Ryusei garden. Its broad, slightly fuzzy leaves and a curling tendril rise through a cutout in a square of silvery reflective mulch, which is held down against the dark soil with a few rocks. A small green seed tag with Japanese characters and a cucumber illustration marks the plant. Behind it and to the right, a staked tomato seedling grows through a matching sheet of the same reflective mulch, and dark green kale leaves crowd into the bottom corner of the frame.

A close view of a mixed planting bed in the Ryusei garden. Mustard greens dominate the frame, their thin stems topped with dense clusters of small yellow blossoms above broad, slightly crinkled blue-green leaves. To the right, a clump of society garlic sends up thin, grassy stalks that open into rounded heads of lilac-purple florets. Behind the plants, bare crumbly soil stretches away in soft focus, giving the bed a freshly tended, open look.

    ALT IMPORTANT

A close look down a tilled garden bed where a row of curly kale fills the right side, its ruffled green leaves catching the light. Behind the kale, taller grass-like blades and purple flower buds lean into the frame, while the left half of the bed is bare, freshly worked soil scattered with small stones and a few young seedlings just getting started. Near the top of the bed, white reflective collars sit around the small plants, and a single broad, dark green leaf pushes into the bottom corner. It reads as a working vegetable patch in early growth, greens established on one side and the next plantings still small.

A close-up of a vegetable bed in the Ryusei Japanese garden. Dark green tatsoi anchors the frame, its spoon-shaped leaves forming low rosettes with pale veins catching the light. Behind it rise larger, crinkled greens and tall, grassy allium leaves, while bare brown soil with a few tiny seedlings runs along the left edge. Soft, even light and shallow focus make the patch look lush and freshly watered.

    Un po' di fagioli

I fagioli sono un must! Sono dolci e ricchi di proteine.

    Fagioli giapponesi - giardino giapponese

Bean plants climb a handmade trellis of blue-painted stakes in a small vegetable garden. The poles are lashed together with twine and strips of white ribbon tied into a loose grid, and the leafy vines twine up through them, showing a few white blossoms. The bed is freshly worked brown soil, edged by terracotta planters with low herbs on the left and a slender young tree on the right, with purple flowers and grasses behind it. A black metal fence runs along the back of the plot, with stone steps and a white wall visible beyond it. A brown watering can sits at the edge of the bed in the foreground, and strong sunlight throws sharp shadows across the soil.

    Qualche extra :)

Un piccolo animaletto - giardino giapponese

A small brown lizard lies across a broken white plastic handle in a garden bed. Its body is slender with a long tail trailing off the edge of the plastic, and its front legs are splayed wide on the pale surface. The handle sits on bare brown soil scattered with pebbles, with a green leafy plant blurred in the foreground and a terracotta planter and paving stone visible behind. The lizard holds still in the open, camouflaging poorly against the bright plastic.
