Bamboo steamers crowded together on a table hold a spread of dim sum. In the front, an open steamer shows siu mai dumplings with pleated yellow wrappers and a minced pork and mushroom filling on top. Beside it sits a deeper steamer holding two parcels wrapped in dark lotus leaves and tied with string. Behind them, more steamers are stacked: one filled with soft white steamed buns, another at the upper right with glossy red Chinese sausages, plus a plate of pale dumplings just entering the frame. The warm bamboo tones and the mix of shapes give the impression of a yum cha table mid-meal.

A woman with long, wavy dark hair sits at a restaurant table and smiles at the camera. She wears a black top with a light plaid scarf draped around her shoulders and small earrings. In front of her stands a large glass of red wine, and the table also holds a water glass, a fork and spoon resting side by side, and a dark red napkin. Behind her, the wall is decorated with framed landscape prints, one of them a golden countryside scene labeled Toscana.

L'autrice è nata e cresciuta in Germania.

A young woman stands smiling among the hanging branches of a willow tree, its long green leaves draping down around her on both sides. She wears a red traditional Chinese dress with gold trim and floral patterns at the collar and bodice. Behind her is a park scene with a lawn, a dark red shrub, a shallow stream edged with stones, and a building with red and yellow panels in the distance.
