"Heidelberg, kota terindah di Jerman menurutku" Begitulah Kool Savas merapkan tentang Heidelberg dan mendedikasikan satu baris pendek dalam salah satu lagunya untuk kota ini. Saya dapat membenarkannya dan menemukan bahwa Heidelberg adalah salah satu destinasi wisata terindah di Jerman. Selain kota tua yang nostalgik, Kastil Heidelberg dan lanskapnya, Universitas Heidelberg adalah salah satu universitas paling ternama di Jerman. Di Heidelberg juga terdapat banyak restoran yang menawarkan masakan Jerman klasik. Selain itu, semakin banyak restoran Korea, Tiongkok atau Jepang yang bermunculan, karena komunitas Asia Timur di wilayah Rhine-Neckar sangat kuat.

Chimaek (치맥), sebagaimana kombinasi ayam goreng (chikkin 치킨) dan bir (Maek 맥) disebut di Korea Selatan, yang sangat populer di bar dan sebagai makanan jalanan untuk jalan-jalan larut malam. Sekitar 3 minggu yang lalu, sebuah restoran Korea baru dibuka di kota tua Heidelberg yang menyajikan ayam Korea. Restoran bernama Cocodec ini telah mendapatkan lokasi yang indah. Cocodec adalah restoran Korea yang baru direnovasi yang menggabungkan desain modern dengan dekorasi tradisional Korea. Nuansa kayu sangat cocok dengan keseluruhan suasana menurut pendapat saya. Para tamu juga dapat duduk di teras yang luas dan menikmati lanskap Heidelberg yang indah.

Cocodec sebagian besar berspesialisasi dalam ayam Korea. Selain berbagai hidangan ayam, ada juga pilihan kecil Mandu (pangsit Korea dengan isian). 4 hidangan pendamping disajikan bersama hidangan ayam. Hidangan pendamping yang paling penting adalah lobak Korea acar, yang merupakan wajib untuk Chimaek. Hidangan ini melengkapi set Chimaek, begitulah kata orang.

Ayam Korea
Korea Selatan dikenal dengan ayamnya yang fenomenal, baik digoreng, dipanggang, dibakar atau dimasak. Bagi saya, Korea Selatan adalah ahli ayam, di mana setiap hidangan ayam terasa lebih enak daripada ayam lain yang sebanding.
Kami memesan opsi paling pedas dari menu. Pelayan secara khusus mengingatkan saya bahwa itu sangat pedas, mungkin karena orang Jerman dikenal tidak dapat makan makanan pedas :D. Bagi saya, itu tidak terlalu pedas, karena saya sudah terbiasa makan makanan yang sangat pedas.
Ayam Goreng Korea memiliki banyak rahasia yang membedakannya dari potongan ayam goreng lainnya. Salah satu rahasianya terletak pada balutan/marinasi yang benar-benar sempurna, yang memberikan rasa unik pada ayam tersebut. Ayam ini memiliki (tergantung pesanan) rasa manis di akhir, yang disertai dengan rasa tajam atau asin. Marinadinya juga sama sekali tidak berminyak. Hal ini karena potongan ayam digoreng dua kali. Proses penggorengan pertama, tanpa marinasi, sudah menciptakan kulit tipis yang renyah di sekeliling potongan ayam. Kemudian dilapisi dengan marinasi/balutan individual dan digoreng lagi.

Apa yang bisa dikatakan tentang rasanya? Saya merasa seperti berada di atas awan ayam sungguhan. Kulit renyah yang pedas, sedikit manis dan panas itu begitu luar biasa sehingga saya bisa memakannya setiap hari! Potongan daun bawang tipis yang dibumbui ringan ditambahkan sebagai hidangan pendamping kecil. Kombinasinya terasa sangat lezat. Saya hanya memesan satu hidangan dan belum bisa menilai hidangan lainnya. Saya pasti akan datang kembali dan memesan lebih banyak hidangan.
Jumlah ayam di foto tampak sedikit, itu menyesatkan. Satu piring mudahnya cukup untuk 2 orang yang lapar. Ada juga hidangan pendamping kecil yang tidak terlalu istimewa.
Bersantai dan Minum Kopi
Setelah pesta ayam besar, Anda dapat merelaksasi perut Anda dengan kopi yang lezat di teras. Anda dapat memesan variasi kopi baik panas maupun dingin. Saya merekomendasikan Green Tea Latte yang sangat lezat. Ini telah membuat saya jatuh cinta sehingga saya akan segera menulis resepnya. Sebagai pencuci mulut, Anda dapat segera memesan es krim serpihan salju Korea (Bingsu). Saat kunjungan saya, mesin es krim yang diimpor dari Korea belum berfungsi.
