Japantown San Jose

A sunny street corner in Japantown San Jose, marked by two pale green gateway posts topped with semicircular signs decorated with pink lotus flowers. A tall, slender white spire leans slightly at the right side of the intersection, one of the district's distinctive monuments. Low storefronts line both streets, including one with a colorful confetti-patterned awning and a brick building signed "The Arsenal."
