The entrance to Mr. Nam 68 is right next to the Essen Unperfekthaus
On my visits I've often eaten Pho Bo, Bunb Bo Nam Bo, and the original Vietnamese spring rolls.. These juicy spring rolls are particularly suitable as a starter. Please forget those little spring rolls from the freezer or from "Chinese" buffets. At Mr. Nam 68 you get arm-thick freshly prepared spring rolls, highly recommended
My conclusion summarized in brief pros and cons:
Pro:
- The meat – soup – base, which is used for most soups, also for the Vietnamese national dish Pho, is made from real beef bones, as it should be according to the original production. Here, beef bones and marrow bones are simmered for hours and a healthy and natural meat broth remains
- really cheap dishes, suitable for a quick bite (7.50 Euro for a standard dish)
- perfect location at the main shopping center in Essen
- It tastes good
- Open kitchen, the dishes are prepared fresh in front of your eyes
- long opening hours
Kontra:
- For the very hungry, 1 dish is probably not enough
my overall rating : 9 / 10 small Vietnamese restaurant. Cheap and super delicious. Are you in Essen? Then stop by here. As you can see, a visit here is really worthwhile. So far I haven't been able to find any real negative points. For less than 7 euros you get delicious dishes and small snacks like summer rolls or the like. This restaurant cooks naturally, without flavor enhancers and other powder forms. If you live in Essen, or have a shopping trip to Essen planned, also plan this Vietnamese restaurant Mr. Nam 68 at Limbecker Platz.
