Food Jung is a unique Korean butcher shop located in Düsseldorf that primarily sells various types of meat, both raw and marinated, along with cooked dishes, rather than functioning as a traditional restaurant. Customers can purchase thinly sliced beef and pork, marinated options like Bulgogi and L.A. Galbi, as well as ready-to-eat items such as Jokbal, a Korean pork dish. In addition to meats, Food Jung offers a variety of homemade frozen soups, making it easy to enjoy authentic Korean flavors at home for around 10 euros per kilogram. The shop also stocks numerous Korean side dishes and to-go meals, with operating hours from Tuesday to Saturday. With a favorable review score of 5/5 from customers, particularly for the quality of their Jokbal, which includes a serving of Kkakdugi (radish kimchi) and sauces, Food Jung emerges as a must-visit for Korean cuisine enthusiasts looking for the convenience of ready-made meals.Food Jung at a glance

Summary Conclusion
Food Jung is one of the few Korean butchers that sells Korean-cut meat and special meat dishes for immediate consumption. I recommend you do some shopping here when you visit Düsseldorf.
Every time I drive through Düsseldorf, I buy some dishes, because they are very easy to prepare at home. I give it 5 stars!
What I often buy at Food Jung in Düsseldorf
I often buy Jokbal, the Korean pork knuckle, at Food Jung. The meat comes with a small bag of Kkakdugi (radish kimchi) and a collection of sauces and salad leaves. You only have to put the Jokbal in the microwave or steamer to heat it up at home. I believe a Jokbal, i.e. a whole, already thinly sliced knuckle with kimchi and salad leaves with sauce, costs about 18 euros. One such portion is enough for 2-3 people. Jokbal is usually eaten with the Ssam method, i.e. a salad leaf wraps a piece of meat and side dishes.
Cooking Jokbal yourself is relatively time-consuming, which is why I like to buy this dish. If you are interested in cooking it yourself, feel free to take a look at our recipe.

I also buy frozen soups. I can defrost them as needed and eat them directly. Food Jung offers a relatively wide selection of Korean soups. The special thing here is that these are special Korean soups that are also particularly time-consuming to prepare yourself.
