Com Viet in Berlin at a Glance

I was recently on a business trip in Berlin and naturally took a vacation at the end of my errands. Since Berlin is known for its culinary scene and many special Asian restaurants, I immediately set out to visit some of these delicious establishments. That's when I came across "Com Viet" at Alexanderplatz. There, you get good and incredibly tasty food for €10-15, including a drink. You sit in a restaurant and leave pleasantly full at the end. The food there showed me once again how delicious Vietnamese cuisine can be.

Com Viet - What Did I Order?

Since the food was so delicious, I ate there two days in a row. On the first day, I ordered a classic Pho. I also wanted to try a platter of spring rolls with different spring/summer rolls. Both dishes tasted incredibly good and I was more than satisfied. The Pho was as expected deliciously spicy, the summer rolls were crunchy and crispy. The summer rolls were, of course, made from special rice paper.

On my second visit, I ordered the Curry. It was very well seasoned. Luckily, it wasn't spicy, as I can't enjoy that comfortably. The curry was served with a bowl of rice. Naturally, a Vietnamese beer was a must, and it also matched the dishes perfectly.

Com Viet - About the Restaurant Itself

The restaurant was surprisingly small, even though it is very popular and always full on the days I was there. There was always a queue at the door, which shows that it is enjoyed by others as well. The queue is a downside, but I really like eating in small, family-oriented restaurants. The service was very attentive and polite.

    Conclusion

I would gladly go to Com Viet in Berlin anytime again if I were there. Delicious food with sides and a drink in a restaurant for a price of €10-15 is simply unbeatable for a Vietnamese restaurant at Alexanderplatz.
