Sushiro x Kimagure Cook – A Dream Come True!
A special highlight is the collaboration between Sushiro and popular YouTuber Kimagure Cook (Kaneko). After months of development, an exclusive sushi collaboration was created featuring five new special sushi varieties. The new creations include:
- Kanjang-gejang Sushi (marinated Snow Crab)
- Bonito with kimchi mayonnaise
- Anago-Takuan Roll (conger eel with pickled radish)
- (Two further special varieties were developed)
The new products underwent strict quality checks to ensure the highest standards despite affordable prices. The limited special menu lineup was introduced nationwide in two phases—first from January 20 and again from February 5. Kimagure Cook’s passion for seafood and Sushiro’s dedication to quality took center stage. Personally, I have been a long-time fan of Kimagure Cook, have been following his YouTube channel for over five years, and traveled especially to Sushiro to experience this exclusive event—the menu was incredibly delicious, but was only available for a limited time. Personal Opinion
Personally, I value Sushiro—just like Kura Sushi—as an excellent place for high-quality sushi at very low prices. For a family visit, the cost is usually around 1,000 to 1,700 yen per person, which is an unbeatable price-performance ratio. In addition, Sushiro offers a wide range of dishes that are also appealing for children and guests who don't like fish—for example, ramen, karaage, fries, but also creative alternatives such as prosciutto sushi or hamburger sushi. What impresses me most is the modern approach to the ordering experience, particularly the large interactive touchscreens that span two tables and turn the restaurant visit into a special experience.
