JapanTown in Los Angeles is the largest of three official JapanTowns in the USA. These are all located on the West Coast in California. We also visited the other JapanTowns in San Francisco and San Jose and wrote a post about each of them.

I have to say honestly, I was very surprised by the selection. You don't even know that abroad.

I have to say honestly, I was very surprised by JapanTown in Los Angeles. You can easily spend a whole day there. Explore JapanTown in the morning for 30 minutes - 1 hour, have lunch, then maybe rest in a cafe or bubble tea shop, then walk around for a few more hours, check out the supermarket, maybe buy some merchandise and then eat Japanese food there again in the evening.

Therefore, definitely a recommendation from us! Anyone who wants to experience Japan in the USA is definitely in good hands in JapanTown Los Angeles and can experience a relatively authentic experience there.
