The most beautiful beaches in Da Nang

My Khe Beach
My Khe Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Da Nang, attracting both locals and tourists. The beach stretches across several kilometers and features fine white sand and clear blue water. It’s the perfect spot to relax, swim, or try out water sports like surfing and jet skiing.
Non Nuoc Beach
Non Nuoc Beach is another picturesque beach in Da Nang. It’s less crowded than My Khe Beach and offers a more tranquil atmosphere. The beach is ideal for long walks and provides spectacular views of the sea and surrounding mountains.

The Dragon Bridge (Cau Rong)
The Dragon Bridge is an impressive architectural masterpiece and a landmark of Da Nang. The bridge is designed in the shape of a giant dragon and is spectacularly illuminated at night. The fire show, which takes place every Saturday and Sunday night, is especially impressive – the dragon breathes fire and water.

Day trip to Hoi An
Hoi An is a picturesque town known for its well-preserved old town, just a short drive from Da Nang. A day trip to Hoi An is a must. For us, a taxi from Da Nang was sufficient and cost around €25 per trip. You can find more about Hoi An in my Hoi An post .

The Marble Mountains
The Marble Mountains are an absolute must for every visitor to Hoi An. This group of five marble-limestone hills is famous for its numerous caves and tunnels, adorned with Buddhist shrines and pagodas. The climb to the top was tough for us at 35 degrees and 80% humidity, but the breathtaking view and the temple inside the cave were definitely worth the effort.

Local specialties and restaurants
Da Nang offers a variety of culinary experiences, from street food to upscale restaurants. I especially recommend the local beer "Larue," which I personally find very tasty. There are plenty of restaurants serving fresh seafood and traditional Vietnamese dishes.

The night markets in Da Nang are a paradise for foodies. Here you’ll find a large selection of fresh seafood prepared right in front of you. The lively atmosphere and delicious food make visiting the night markets an unforgettable experience.

Khách Sạn SeaShore
Khách Sạn SeaShore thrilled us with its location right on the beach of Mân Thái. We enjoyed the beautiful sea view and were just a few steps from the beach. The area was ideal for relaxing and experiencing nature. Even though the city center of Da Nang was a bit farther away, we appreciated the peace and breathtaking scenery.

Transportation and getting around
Using the Grap Taxi app
The Grap Taxi app is an extremely convenient way to get around in Da Nang. Similar to Uber, it lets you book rides without negotiating and you see the price before your trip. Payment can conveniently be made through the app, which is especially handy for tourists. The app also gives you the option of ordering food if you’re too lazy to leave the hotel.
Safety and comfort
Despite all the advantages, there are also some safety concerns when using the Grap Taxi app. Often the cars do not have proper seatbelts in the back, which I personally find questionable, especially in countries with high accident and death rates in traffic. It’s not uncommon for the belts to be deliberately locked or inaccessible, so you should always pay attention to your safety.
Conclusion: Why Da Nang is worth a trip
Da Nang has truly inspired me with its mix of beautiful beaches, impressive cultural sights, and delicious food. The city offers a variety of experiences that are both relaxing and adventurous.
