    The Dragon Bridge (Cau Rong)

The Dragon Bridge is an impressive architectural masterpiece and a landmark of Da Nang. The bridge is designed in the shape of a giant dragon, which is spectacularly illuminated at night. Day Trip to Hoi An

Hoi An, a picturesque town known for its well-preserved old town, is just a short drive from Da Nang. A day trip to Hoi An is a must. For us, a taxi from Da Nang was sufficient, costing about €25 per trip. You can find more about Hoi An in my Hoi An post .

    The Marble Mountains

The Marble Mountains are an absolute must for any visitor to Hoi An. This group of five marble and limestone hills is known for its numerous caves and tunnels adorned with Buddhist shrines and pagodas. Climbing to the top of the mountains was strenuous for us at 35 degrees and 80% humidity, but the breathtaking view and the temple in the cave were definitely worth the effort.

    Khách Sạn SeaShore

Khách Sạn SeaShore impressed us with its location directly on the Mân Thái Beach. We enjoyed the beautiful sea view and were just a few steps away from the beach. The area was ideal for relaxation and experiencing nature. Although the city center of Da Nang is a bit further away, we appreciated the tranquility and the stunning scenery.

    Transportation and Getting Around

    Using the Grap Taxi App

The Grap Taxi App is an extremely convenient way to get around in Da Nang. Similar to Uber, it allows you to book rides without negotiations and see the price before the trip. Payment can be easily made through the app, which is especially practical for tourists. Additionally, the app also offers the option to order food if you’re too lazy to leave the hotel.

    Safety and Comfort

Despite the many advantages, there are some safety concerns when using the Grap Taxi App. Often, the cars do not have proper seat belts in the back, which I personally find very questionable, especially in countries with high traffic accident and fatality rates. It is not uncommon for the belts to be intentionally locked or inaccessible, so you always need to pay attention to your safety.

Conclusion: Why Da Nang is Worth a Visit

Despite some minor safety concerns when using taxis, Da Nang is definitely worth a visit. I hope my tips and highlights help you plan your own unforgettable trip to Da Nang.
