Koala's March - adorable koala cookies

Koala’s March are small cookies filled with a delicious chocolate cream and – of course – shaped like a koala. The outline of a koala is also drawn on each cookie itself. These adorable Japanese sweets are not only available with chocolate but also with strawberry filling, as well as matcha cream, chocolate-banana flavor and custard cream. 

Koala’s March are not a traditional but a modern sweet – they have only been available for purchase since the 1980s. They are also available in Germany, but not in normal supermarkets, only in special Japanese markets and online shops. Just look for the hexagonal box that contains many individual koala cookies. Especially cute, by the way, is that the koalas on the packaging are depicted doing different things and in different positions!
