How do you eat Edamame?
Traditionally and most commonly, Edamame is eaten as a snack. The immature soybeans are cooked with salt. After cooking, the beans are squeezed out with the teeth and eaten. For beginners, shelling will be a problem at first, but with a little practice the Japanese snack can be enjoyed.
In Germany, the bean is particularly popular in salads. In many healthy and trendy salad recipes, the vitamin-rich bean can be found. In Asian supermarkets you can get pre-cooked beans that you can use directly for your salad. Edamame also goes well with cold noodles. With Japanese soba noodles, the bean tastes particularly good.

How expensive are Edamame?
Currently, Edamame is only available in Asia shops. The beans are priced between 2 and 5 euros. The beans can be found in the freezer.
PS: It's worth it.
Can I buy Edamame online?
Well, not really. Because the beans have to be fresh or frozen. I found an Amazon shop that sells the beans for €5, but shipping costs an additional €10. In my opinion, that's too expensive.
