Bentō (jap. 弁当) is a Japanese version of a lunchbox/snack box. Such a box usually contains many small dishes, which are often prepared by the mother or wife. Whether at school, university, or office; Bento boxes can be found everywhere in Japan. Therefore, you can find so-called Bento shops in many Japanese train stations and department stores, offering thousands of variations of decorated and pretty Bentos. Unfortunately, in Germany, you can only find Bento shops sporadically, where you can get your individual Bento box. I think dishes that contain little water or sauce are best. However, the dishes should not be too dry. It is very important that perishable foods like fish, meat, or eggs are fully cooked, as they become quickly inedible at room temperature otherwise. Otherwise, there are virtually no limits. There are even special Bento boxes in which soup can be stored. However, I do not recommend cheap ones, as there is a risk that the plastic will melt or that there are leaks. To give you a small overview of the dishes, I have created a short list. Enjoy and bon appétit. If you want to complete the list,

This way, you get beautiful pictures, good entertainment, and a little insight into my life. I hope you enjoy this post: 10 Beautiful Bento Boxes with Pictures.
1. Panda Bento

The super cute Panda Bento box is available for €23.46 on Amazon. Unfortunately, the price is very high. I have not tested it, but I think the quality is accordingly good. If you have purchased it and have experience, I would appreciate a comment.

I am your Bento box! The Star Wars Bento box is a must for every Star Wars fan. The box will definitely stand out during breaks. Unfortunately, I am too old for it. Meh.

In my opinion, a very practical Bento box. With this cute lunchbox, you can transport rice, side dishes, and even soups. So a complete balanced meal. Amazon customers also say that the product is good.

Oooooch how cute! A sweet sleeping owl that likes to sleep near you. There are also other colors and shapes. Certainly a nice gift for the youngest member of your family. Definitely nicer than the standard lunchboxes.

This is my absolute favorite. I am into a minimalist and natural design. Additionally, wood has a different feel than plastic. Unfortunately, this also affects the price. Therefore, I will only buy them when I have a full-time job. Sadly, I am just a poor apprentice and food blogger.

"Tonari no Totoro, Totoro" I watched this movie and its brilliant music for the first time when I was 10 years old. I especially remember the beautiful music, and it always brings back nice childhood memories. A must for everyone! Yes, the matching box is available on Amazon with a cheerful Totoro.

Ahhh, those were the days when I used to play Pokémon Blue and Red on the Game Boy. Such a great childhood. If there is someone out there who wants to buy a lunchbox in Game Boy design, here is the link.

I have something to share here. I played guitar for about 10 years, but unfortunately, I no longer have time for it. Really a pity. But for a child who passionately plays electric guitar, this Bento box is certainly fitting.

A very simple but cute design. Unfortunately, I don't know what to say about the box. I prefer to leave the design question to my female audience. But if I had a daughter, this box would be among my top choices.

A very typical design for Bento boxes. Red and black, with flowers and animals on them. In the past, when I was still going to school and my mother prepared my lunchbox with tasty food, I had a similar box. Also, the fact that you wrap fabric around the box is typical. In this variant, it's a fabric sack, while in my childhood I often used simple handkerchiefs to wrap it.

;) Viel Erfolg
