Einzigartig in Deutschland
Was ist Bingsu?

The mound of milky ice is topped with soft rice cake chunks, scattered crushed peanuts and almond slivers, and a dusting of roasted soybean powder that gives the top a warm golden color.

A black bowl of Korean bingsu sits on a white cafe table, piled high with finely ground peanut powder that coats the shaved ice like sand. On top rest a few scoops, dusted with whole peanuts, giving the dessert a rounded, snowdrift shape. A spoon waits on a paper napkin at the edge of the frame. Behind it, the bright interior of Namu Cafe in Düsseldorf falls out of focus: simple white tables, chairs, and a hint of the street through the window.

A chocolate bingsu from Namu Cafe in Düsseldorf sits in a round black bowl on a white table. The Korean shaved ice dessert is loaded with toppings: fan-sliced bananas coated in caramel sauce curl over the edge, cubes of brownie and crumbled chocolate fill the base, and a scoop of chocolate ice cream sits at the back with a rolled wafer stick leaning beside it. Behind the bowl, a rustic exposed brick wall and the back of a wooden chair give the cafe a warm, casual feel.

The large display window carries a white tree logo with the cafe's name and the words "Korean Dessert Bingsu" printed across the glass, and the window reflects the facades of buildings on the opposite side of the street. A black hanging sign with the same tree logo marks the entrance to the right, next to a wall-mounted lamp and a small trimmed shrub in a dark planter. In front of the window sit round outdoor tables with wicker chairs, one of them holding a green bottle and an ashtray.

NAMU CAFE
KOREAN DESSERT
NAMU CAFE
A wooden A-frame chalkboard stands on the pavement outside Namu cafe, advertising its Korean bingsu desserts. The sign reads "NAMU cafe east!" at the top and lists three varieties with photos: Mango bingsu, Schoko bingsu, and Matcha bingsu, each with an arrow pointing to an image of the dessert in a bowl. Behind the sign is the cafe entrance with glass doors, and to the right a large wicker basket holds a tall green plant next to a metal trash bin.

NAMU
café erstes!
Mango bingsu
Schoko bingsu
Matcha bingsu
