A sunny outdoor terrace of the Cocodec Korean chicken restaurant sits right beside the Neckar River in Heidelberg. Wooden tables with slatted chairs fill the foreground, most of them empty, with tall black umbrellas folded closed between them. A large leafy tree spreads over part of the seating and throws shade across the tables, which are set with small glasses and napkins. Behind the terrace, the red sandstone arches of Heidelberg's Old Bridge stretch across the river, its stone bridge gate standing near the far bank. On the other side, the old town's tightly packed rooftops climb the base of steep, forested hills. The scene has the relaxed feel of a summer afternoon at a riverside restaurant with a clear view of the city's most famous landmark.

A terrace view over the Neckar river in Heidelberg. In the foreground, a brick railing is lined with flower boxes overflowing with red geraniums, and the photo is clearly taken from a raised balcony or restaurant terrace looking out. Below, the river stretches across the frame with the city's old stone bridge crossing it, its series of rounded arches and red sandstone towers standing out against the water. On the far bank, a row of houses lines the waterfront at the foot of steep hills covered in dense green forest. The sky is bright with scattered clouds, giving the whole scene a warm, summery feel.

The image shows the menu of Cocodec, a Korean chicken restaurant in Heidelberg. The white menu card, photographed against a dark background, fills the frame, with the restaurant's name in orange script and a small bird logo at the top. The first section, headed "Koreanisches Chicken," lists the fried chicken lineup in numbered items: Original Fried Chicken with a choice of sweet chilli or soy garlic sauce, a combo version served with fries and a drink, and several Yang Nyum and Go Chu Jang chicken variations. Most chicken dishes run 23 to 25.50 euros, with a smaller item, Gepanierte Gyo Bo, at 12 euros. A second section covers Koreanische Manju, steamed dumplings filled with chicken, pork, beef, vegetables, kimchi, or salmon, priced at 7.50 to 8.50 euros each. A short "Beilagen" section at the bottom offers extra rice for 3 euros. The whole menu is written in German with euro prices.

A table at a Korean chicken restaurant, viewed over a spread of dishes. The centerpiece is a round plate piled with glossy fried chicken pieces coated in a red sweet-and-spicy glaze, garnished with sesame seeds and a sprig of greens. Around it sit small white square dishes: one with coleslaw, another with corn, a couple of pickled items, and one still empty. A dark soda glass stands behind the chicken, and a fork and glass of water wait at the edge of the light wooden table, with a black bag and menus tucked off to the side.

A close-up of Korean fried chicken served on a white plate at Cocodec. The pieces are coated in a glossy, reddish sweet-and-spicy glaze, and soft rice cakes in the same sauce are mixed in among them. Sliced almonds are scattered over the top, and a bright nest of finely shredded raw scallion sits on one side of the plate for contrast. The plate rests on a light wooden restaurant table, with the edge of a fork and a second plate just visible at the left of the frame.

A terrace table at a Korean restaurant in Heidelberg holds two drinks: a tall, curvy glass of dark iced coffee topped with cream and ice cubes, and a white cup of latte with delicate foam art on its saucer. Both sit on warm orange wooden furniture. Beyond the table railing, red geraniums spill over planters and wooden benches line the edge of the terrace. The view opens onto a steep, tree-covered hillside dotted with white buildings and a slender tower near the top, all under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds. A folded gray umbrella stands at the right of the frame, giving the scene a relaxed, sunny afternoon feel.
